Shipping policy

Shipping Cost.

  1. Easy-to-Assemble Garden Beds ("Country" collection) - free delivery to South-Eastern Ontario (Toronto, London, Niagara Falls, Peterborough, Kingston, Ottawa) and Sothern Quebec (Gatineau, Montreal, Sherbrooke, Trois-Rivieres, Quebec City). Delivery to other locations require individual quotation. 
  2. "Classic" collections: Rectangular, Cascaded, Elevated, L-shaped, U-shaped Garden Beds. Free delivery to Ottawa area (Ottawa, Gatineau, Rockland, Kemptville, Carleton Place, Arnprior), delivery with an additional shipping surcharge: Hawkesbury, Cornwall, Brockville, Laval, Montreal. Shipping surcharge is $1.25 per kilometer from the center of Ottawa. For example, shipping surcharge to Laval is about $225 (exact number depends on the address). "Classic" collections delivery includes delivery to driveway, assembling, move to the place of your choice at the same premise.

Shipping arrangements ("Country" collection). 

  1. Garden Beds to be delivered by a postal service. 
  2. We will provide you with a Tracking Number so you will be ale to check delivery status. 
  3. Products are usually shipped in 2-3 days. Delivery itself takes 5-7 business days.

Shipping arrangements ("Classic" collections). 

  1. After placing an order, we will contact you to confirm details, and to schedule a delivery. Delivery will be performed by our crew. 
  2. It usually takes 7-14 days for a Garden Bed to be delivered. 
  3. You should expect your purchase to be delivered on the day and time scheduled. Allow 1 hour tolerance period. If, for some reason, scheduled delivery can not be completed, we well contact you for reschedule.
  4. If you can't be at home at the time of delivery, please contact us for reschedule. You can allow somebody else to receive you order. To do so, please send us an email with Order Number and Name, Surname, e-mail of that person.
  5. If nobody, from the persons who was allowed to receive an order, is not at home at the moment of delivery, delivery and assembly can not be completed, and should be reschedule to the later time/date.
  6. You should be ready to explain us where do you want your bed to be located (backyard, front yard, etc.). After assembling we will take pictures of the product. These pictures confirm that shipping and assembling have been completed, quality and an appearance of the product. Some of these pictures (which do not reveal any personal details) can be used on our website or in other promo materials. 

Assembling. 

  1. "Country" collection Garden Beds to be assembled by customers. No tools required. Estimated timing - 15-20 minutes. Instruction is available here, 
  2. "Classic" collections - will be assembled on site by our crew. Please note, that "assembling" is not the same as "installing". "Assembling" means that all the parts of the Bed will be joined (screwed) together, to get a complete product. This is included to the price. "Installing" stands for precise positioning on the property, integrating to landscape, trenching, or soil/grass removal. This is not included, and should be performed by a customer. 

General Notes.

  1. Soil will be supplied in plastic bags (25 liters each). Note that filling a Bed with a Soil is not included to the price. Soil provided is generic Garden Soil. We test that Soil every year for acidity and contain of main nutrients (nitrogen, phosphorus, potash). Measurements show that you can use this soil "as is" - no additions required for the first year. 
  2. Product Appearance. Raised Garden Beds we offer are made from natural materials (cedar wood). It means that (1) some imperfections like knots, cracks, bends are normal and expected, and (2) the product you purchase may (and more likely will) not look exactly like a product shown on the website. Product Appearance does not affect a performance, and is not covered by Warranty. 
  3. Product Quality. In a normal conditions Raised Garden Beds made from cedar can last for years. No special maintenance is required. We offer a complimentary warranty for 12 months starting from a date of delivery. Warranty for "Country" collection can be extended to 36 month - subject to additional fee. This includes free repairs in cases when damage was no caused by improper use. If you experience any problem with our product, even outside of Warranty term, please contact us, and we will try to help. 
  4. Warranty coverage. Warranty covers structural integrity of Garden Beds. In other words, an ability of the side boards to retain soil. Small holes in the boards which are a result of knots, or drilling, or screwing, are not covered. In order to be eligible for repair damage should be caused by natural reasons (like rotten).
